A Culture I Can Count On: A Look at My Time at MOI

Hi, I‘m Amna Kundi. I’m originally from Pakistan, but now I live in London with my husband and three-year-old son. I got my degree in Bioinformatics from Capital University of Science and Technology in Islamabad. My degree focused on subjects like biology, advanced math, and computer science.  

Outside of work, my main interests are crochet, knitting, and nail art—which I’ve even done a professional course in! I’m passionate about playing with numbers and progressing my career in finance.  

My background is in retail. To switch gears, I completed a course through KBM Chartered Accountants in London. It was hard to find a job in finance because of the pandemic. But after a two-year struggle, I found a job at MOI as the new Junior Finance Assistant.   

I’m really enjoying it here so far. My team is really supportive and professional. Not to mention, they’re some of the loveliest people! I’ve learned so much already, but there’s plenty more to do. My core responsibility is to be the main point of contact for all our suppliers. I input GBP, USD, and EUR supplier invoices into the system. I also do bank reconciliations and credit card statements for all the senior members of the agency.  

I really like working for a global B2B agency—the people I work with make it even better. One of MOI’s best offerings is M|Academy. It’s a place where I get to meet different people from diverse backgrounds. I’ve loved learning about everyone else’s roles and working with them on special projects for the agency.​​​

I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I know my parents will be proud to see me work hard and love what I do.
